Notification
No. SOA (A.D)4(3)/2010. WHEREAS, Article 1 of the Constitution of Islamic Republic of Pakistan has been amended to substitute the words "North West Frontier" with the words " Khyber Pakhtunkhwa" as name of this province.
NOW THEREFORE, it is hereby notified for information of all departments that in future "Khyber Pakhtunkhwa" shall be used while referrring to the name of the province in all official correspondence and business.
NOTE: the insignia of the Provincial Government is being amended to effectuate the change which will be communicated in due course aftr approval of the Competent Authority. The acronyms of "NWFP" appearing in the present isignia on the printed letter may be concealed with fluid.
